What SmartShift Central does
SSC provides governed access to configured AI models for organisational users. Depending on customer configuration, SSC can combine a user's prompt with conversation history, project memory, selected project knowledge and uploaded document text.
Privacy controls
SSC is designed to apply configured privacy governance before provider submission. This can include detecting and replacing supported categories of personal information with placeholders and restoring permitted content in the returned response. No automated privacy control can guarantee that every possible identifier or sensitive fact will always be detected, so customer policy and user judgement remain important.
Provider and model governance
Customer administrators can be given controls over approved model/provider profiles. SSC records governance/audit metadata such as provider/model, privacy mode, findings, contextual sources used and provider request identifiers where available.
Automated decisions
SSC is a general organisational AI-assistance platform. It is not intended, by default, to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals. Customers considering such use must perform their own legal/risk assessment and implement legally required safeguards, including meaningful human involvement and contestability where applicable.
Accuracy
AI output may be incomplete, incorrect or misleading. Users must apply appropriate human review before relying on output for material decisions, external publication, legal advice, financial decisions, safety-critical actions or other high-impact use.
