Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Scope

These terms govern use of the public smartshift.consulting website. Contracted access to SmartShift Central is governed by the applicable customer agreement, order form, service terms and Data Processing Addendum.

2. Information only

Public website content is provided for general information. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, security, financial or professional advice and is not a substitute for advice appropriate to your circumstances.

3. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, site content, branding, software descriptions and documentation are owned by or licensed to SmartShift Consulting. You may view and print public materials for legitimate internal evaluation but may not misrepresent, commercially republish or create misleading derivative materials without permission.

4. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to interfere with the site, defeat security controls, conduct unauthorised testing, introduce malicious code, scrape in a manner that materially impairs the service, impersonate another person, or use the site unlawfully.

5. Links and third parties

External links may be provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party sites or their availability, security or content.

6. Availability

We may change, suspend or withdraw the public site or any part of it. Nothing on this holding site creates a service-level commitment.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the public website is provided without guarantees as to uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose.

9. Children and age-appropriate use

This public website and SmartShift Central are intended for business and organisational use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly offer accounts or services directly to children through this public website. A customer must not configure or promote a SmartShift Central deployment for use by children without first assessing and implementing the legal, privacy and safeguarding requirements that apply to that deployment.

10. Governing law

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
